Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) Roadshow

Recently I had the privilege of attending the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) Sydney Roadshow, and what an insightful experience it was! As a committee member of the Sydney chapter, it was an honour to be recognised alongside my fellow key members by the Chair during the opening remarks.

The day was packed with valuable updates from FAAA advocacy and ASIC, shedding light on the latest in compliance practices and the integration of AI in financial planning. The showcase of a financial planning practice thriving in tough times was particularly inspiring.

The standout sessions were the interactive discussion on compliant AI usage in financial planning and the compelling narrative of a financial planning business’s success. These sessions expanded my perspective on supporting and nurturing modern financial planning businesses.

Capping off the event, I shared my thoughts in an interview with the FAAA, reflecting on the roadshow’s impact. I wholeheartedly recommend such events to advisers and support staff – the insights that come out of listening to the industry discuss key issues in an open conference are unparalleled.
